Livethesource vitamin company started in June of 2009. The company started as a result of some life-changing events for the CEO and president Ted Farnsworth.
Ted had gastric bypass surgery, and his doctors told him to go get a liquid vitamin product. Ted asked why, because he was already buying very expensive vitamins and thought he had the best on the market.
His doctor told him that the absorption rate on his tablet type vitamins were only about 8 to 10% these liquid vitamins they were being recommended had a much higher absorption rate of 15 to 20%.
Ted didn't think much of this and continue to take his liquid vitamins daily. Being an entrepreneur involved in other health-related businesses, the words nano and nanotechnology started to surface in his research more and more. Nano simply means breaking something down to one billionth of the size.
Ted's thoughts were, if something was that small, couldn't it be absorbed better at the cellular level? What about the vitamins that he was taking everyday, could their absorption rate be improved if the elements were broken down to one billionth of their size?
